Birmingham Masters Swimming Club

Thinking about joining us?

Looking for a club to join? Come and and try a session and see if we're right for you.

Just send us an email and we will let you know the best/quietest session that week and we can also make sure you have access to the pool.

As with all clubs, you will need to fill out an insurance form which covers you for the duration of the swim, and these will be available on the poolside before jumping in.

Under our insurance, you can do a maximum of 3 trial sessions before you need to join the club. These are pay-as-you-go at £5 per session, collected on poolside by the coach before the swim.

We typically swim between 2000 and 3000 meters in an hour depending upon your fitness, level and ability. Please see below for some sample sessions.

Fees

Birmingham Masters is a non-profit making club, run by its members, with fees covering pool and coaching costs. An annual membership fee is collected once a year in January.

Please note that for insurance purposes members are also required to hold Swim England membership. This should also be paid through the club together with the annual membership fee, unless you pay this through a different club.

New members can pay solely on a per session basis for the maximum of 3 sessions before they would be required to officially join the club to continue swimming.
